3D modeling of cultural relics and reconstruction of historical sites
Aerial oblique photography can be performed by using unmanned vehicles. The aerial images with high overlap rate can be reconstructed from flat images to three-dimensional models through image processing technologies such as image matching, stereo image pairing and aerial triangulation, reconstructing historical scenes and restoring real landforms with the appearance of the building. It can also perform spatial measurement and analysis of length, area and volume on the model. Combined with high-precision mapping and scanning, UAV has substantial benefits for the preservation of cultural monuments.
3D urban building management application
By using 3D technologies such as image stitching and LiDAR scanning combined with GIS analysis, it can be practically applied to the analysis of solar energy potential, as well as visual three-dimensional urban planning such as flooding simulations, landscape views, conflicts between public facilities and pipelines, and building management.
